Alligator to Perform Live at WTJU!

Alligator - Charlottesville's own Grateful Dead cover band - will be performing live in the WTJU studio for a live broadcast during the 2007 Rock & Folk Fund raising Marathon at Noon on Saturday, April 21. Alligator focuses on the Dead's early years through around the mid-1970s, and they regularly pack them in whenever they play locally, including their annual gig at Fridays after 5 (look for them on May 25 this year).

So be sure to tune in to 91.1 FM, or online at WTJU.net. And remember - this is a fund raiser - the band is donating their time to play for all of us, so please try to dig deep and call in your pledge (or make it online) to support the Sound Choice in Central Virginia.

Thanks for listening, and thanks for your continued support of WTJU!
